The official stance of Azuma Zaibatsu towards other clans that value peace and honor is to be friendly toward them.
Azuma Zaibatsu is neutral towards most other clans.
Azuma Zaibatsu has a small number of (undisclosed) enemies, but does not wish to remain in that state.
I’ve been thinking about ways to arrange this site. There is going to be a lot of information on here and storing all of it using the pages you see up top will not work because the pages will get so long that they become cumbersome to deal with. And I can only have so many pages before the menu runs out of space!
So I figured I would take advantage of this website’s blogging platform and use categories and posts to organize a lot of the information. The first thing you will see is me splitting the “Diplomacy” page into three separate posts. These posts will be labeled “DIP-#” because each type of issuance (i.e. something that the leadership is issuing) is part of a category of different types of statements that can be made. “DIP” means diplomacy. Also, the post will be tagged “Diplomacy” to signify that as well.
You will be able to use the categories and tags boxes at the right to sort through these posts.
I think that will make it much easier to figure out when there is a change to the clan’s rules or something of that nature, because before one of those pages would get edited and no one would know. This will also make it so that we are publishing content on this site far more frequently, which is great because it is the first thing you see when you go to azumazaibatsu.org. 
As the SoE clan is unfortunately without a server at the moment — AZ has experienced this difficulty in the past, and we know what it feels like — we have made an agreement with Kowro Wefai that his clan may use our server as a meeting spot. Everyone please give them a warm welcome.
Due to a problem with upgrading the database from version 4 to 5, I had to re-install WordPress. I imported all the old pages and posts, but the user accounts on the website are gone, unfortunately. However, they really didn’t have any useful purpose, so it shouldn’t be a problem unless you were using it for something.
Within the next week or so, the content on this website will be reorganized a bit and new stuff will be added. It probably won’t make any sense until I’m done but I’ll announce when it is.
In other news, AZ is now affiliated with Vega Gaming!
Due to a significant change in our membership, the “families as guilds” structure to our clan has been temporarily discarded. See the changes on the family page.
Also, you may have noticed that the forum theme changed. I had to change it because the old theme isn’t compatible with the latest release of Simple Machines Forum. I know, it’s kind of ugly, but hopefully our old theme will be updated soon.
Today Kima and I announce the official launch of a new chapter in Azuma Zaibatsu history — a complete reboot of the clan with simpler ranks, only two guilds (now they are called families), a new server running base damages (with admin mod JAE to regulate it), and, most importantly, a mission. Our clan-wide goal is to actively cultivate the skill and mental discipline of our own members and to stimulate the JKA community towards the same unified goal. Unlike so many, we reject complacency and will always be striving to push ourselves and others to greater heights.
