Server
The Azuma Zaibatsu clan has two Jedi Academy servers. One runs JA+ mod and is located at 208.43.15.14:29070. The other is a base TFFA server and is located at 74.63.40.101:29070.
We also have a Ventrilo server for voice communication located at 72.249.124.58:5974.
We hope as many as possible can participate in voice chat.
Rules of the Server
- Laming: The only absolute rule is not to annoy anyone. You should always be prepared to fend for yourself, but if your saber is down you have the right to expect people not to lame you, and the same goes when you are training or clearly involved in some other kind of activity. But, lounging around with your saber up means you are a free target.
- Respect: Honoring other players is how we honor the Zaibatsu. Those who dishonor the Zaibatsu will themselves be dishonored. We honor other players by showing due respect, not insulting or inflaming, but always endeavoring to maintain the peace and unity of the server, especially the brotherhood. If you are not in AZ, show respect to be shown respect.
- Language: Use at your own discretion. Except that you can’t use language to insult others, there are no hard and fast rules about its usage. But, language quickly escalates a bad situation. It is better to remain calm and controlled.
- Administration: In order of importance from least important to most important, obey saba-adomin (server admins), obey the orders of Yakuin who are ranked higher than you, obey Junsa, and obey the Shirei.
- Off-server behavior: AZ members must always, always, always represent the best of AZ when you are in tags on another server. That means obeying not only AZ’s rules to the fullest extent possible, but obeying other server’s rules in appropriate situations.
These rules apply to all AZ members, including higher ranks, those who think they have special privileges, those who do favors for us (wrongfully thinking it would give them a right to break rules), and even those who had a bad day and need to blow off steam (you can do that without hurting people).
